A little guide to a great breakfast.
Slice & Spread is a drawing puzzle. Follow the colored outlines on the cutting board, join neighboring pieces, and release your finger to clear your path. You can play with a mouse too.
Match the outline
Choose a jam color, then draw through at least three neighboring pieces with that outline. Pieces may touch sideways or diagonally. Their bread shapes can differ; the outline is what matters. Keep your finger down for the whole path, then lift to use a turn.
Make breakfast combos
Long chains of regular toast create special breakfast pieces. Make a waffle with 8β11 regular pieces, then include it in another matching path to fire its row-and-column blast. Creating a piece and activating it are separate moves.
Read the goal before drawing
The top of the game shows your target and turns left. Some challenges also have a board goal, such as serving breakfast or breaking sugar. On those levels you need both the score and the board goal. Tap the goal card for its visual lesson. A large Next challenge button appears over the board when a regular challenge is complete; Replay lets you try it again.
Plan your special pieces
| Chain | Creates | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| 8β11 | Waffle | Line up a row or column. |
| 12β15 | Jam Danish | Line up a diagonal blast. |
| 16β17 | Large combo | Check the highlighted blast preview. |
| 18+ | Biggest combo | Plan around its wider blast. |
The game previews what your current path will do before you let go. Specials already on the board are not regular toast for the creation threshold. Link two or more special pieces in the same path for a bigger multiplier and an extra 3,000 points per additional linked piece. A blast can also activate nearby specials. The score preview shows the total for that move.
Honey: clear twice
Honey is the golden blob behind a piece. Clear on or beside the patch to remove one layer. Clear beside it again to remove the second. A short move beside honey can be more useful than a long path elsewhere.
Sugar: blast it
Ordinary swipes do not break sugar crystals. Make a breakfast combo and activate it so its blast reaches the crystal. A waffle in the same row or column is a useful starting plan.
Serve the customer
On breakfast-order levels, the plate shows the requested items. Creating a waffle alone does not serve it: connect it in a matching path to activate it. Some orders ask for two pieces in one turn; others ask for different breakfast types or a short queue of orders. Check the plateβs Now and Next requests before choosing your move.
Delivery levels work differently: clear pieces beneath the marked breakfast to bring it down to its takeaway box. The goal display tells you when the delivery is complete.
Burnt toast and consumables
A burnt piece has no colored outline. It can bridge a path, but directly clearing it costs 500 points. Destroying it with a combo blast avoids that penalty. Use the move preview to decide whether the shortcut is worthwhile.
Consumables sit beside the board. Tap an item to aim it, or drag it onto the board. Check the highlighted area and confirm the use. Each consumable type can be used once per level; a checkmark shows when that type is used up for this attempt.
Choose your pace
Challenges offers 100 levels with score and board goals. Infinite starts with 12 turns and has no score target. Rush Hour gives you 60 seconds to chase a score. Adventure carries a run through five boards with perks between stages. Home keeps these modes separate from events, decorations and settings.
Challenge stars reward finishing with turns to spare: four or more turns earns three stars, three turns earns two, and zero to two turns earns one. Boss levels let you keep playing after reaching the target to improve your boss high score.
You do not need ads to play. Optional rewarded ads are currently unavailable while the site awaits approval. An unavailable or skipped ad does not spend an item or a turn.
